Mission Statement
The Stewardship Commission
strives to encourage all parishioners to understand Stewardship
as a way of life, an attitude of the mind and heart that is
expressed in action emphasizing that all people, things and
experiences are gifts/blessings from God.

The Stewardship Commission
asks the question of all parishioners: Who is a Christian
Steward? We all are. The Commission encourages us to identify
our gifts and blessings, to be grateful for what we have been
given, to cultivate and use those gifts responsibly, to share
them lovingly in justice with others, and to return them back to
God with increase.
The primary focus of this
Commission is to be a catalyst for ongoing sharing of each
parishioner’s individual gifts for the continued growth and
betterment of the parish community in all ways.
As stewards, we have the
opportunity to make decisions related to what God wants to do
through us to accomplish his will. Each contribution of time
talent or treasure pays itself forward in untold ways. Each act
however small, effects a change in someone’s life, in our
community and the giver’s life. Christ teaches “give and you
shall receive”. Participating in a St. Luke ministry not only
allows you to help others but to grow with every experience.
At St. Luke Parish, there
are more than 70 ministries in which parishioners can become
involved. Click on the "St. Luke Ministries" tab at the top of
the page to help answer this question:
Lord, what do You want
to do, through me,
to accomplish Your will for our Parish?
“My
Gifts for God’s People” Stewardship Campaign:
THANK YOU to all the individuals and families who
have renewed their commitment to The Church of St. Luke the
Evangelist by completing a form during this year’s campaign.
The response by our parishioners has been remarkable. Over 350
forms have been collected and over 1,000 names have been added to
the 67 lists of ministries offered by our parish! If you have
not yet completed a form, it is not too late to join your fellow
parishioners. The Commitment Form can be placed in the
Offertory Basket during Mass or returned to the parish office at
1212 Bunts Road. Thank you for offering your gifts of Time,
Talent, and Treasure that help us spread the good news of Jesus
Christ to those in our parish and neighborhood community.
