The Bereavement Ministry of St. Luke is Looking for New Members

“I will not leave you comfortless.” -John 14:18

The Bereavement Ministry is made up of people who are dedicated to providi1ng support and comfort to the friends and family of the deceased.

How do we do this?

  • We attend the funeral Masses and offer assistance and comfort to family, friends and those attending. Some members volunteer as altar servers.
  • We pray for the deceased and their family members.
  • Some serve at home as Prayer Advocates for the deceased.
  • We offer resources on grief for those dealing with loss.
  • We offer continued support for the family members by sendi1ng cards and making phone call’s.
  • We also host the memorial Mass on November 2nd each year.

We all experience grief and loss in our lives; our ministry hopes to be part of the heal1ing process.

Everyone is welcome to join our ministry!
