Bereavement Ministry
Our Bereavement Ministry at St. Luke’s is here to offer resources and support for those who are grieving and mourning. If you or someone that you know could use the prayers and support of our parish community, please contact Pat Dutko (410) 507-9873 or Mary Sue McGorray (216) 226-5356
Homebound Eucharist Ministers
In bringing communion to the sick and shut-ins the Eucharistic Minister represents Christ and manifests faith and charity on behalf of the whole community toward those who cannot be present at the Eucharist. For the sick the reception of communion is not only a gift but also a sign of support and concern shown by the Christian community for its own members who are ill.
The King’s Men – Men’s Ministry
Under Christ the King’s universal call to serve, we as men, pledge to unite and build up other men in the mold of leader, protector, and provider through education, formation and action. To become Men of Christ.
Knights of Columbus
Since 1882, membership in the Knights of Columbus has been open to men 18 years of age or older who are “practical” (that is, practicing) Catholics in union with the Holy See. We are Catholic men who lead, serve, protect and defend. We share a desire to be better husbands, fathers, sons, neighbors and role models and to put charity and community first.
Walking with Moms in Need
Walking With Moms in Need is a diocesan-wide initiative aimed at supporting pregnant and parenting moms. This initiative aims at creating a support network of caring neighbors who are armed with the knowledge of local resources who are enabled to assist with the needs of mothers in our community.
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (Eucharistic Minsters):
Lectors:
A lector proclaims the Word of God at Mass.
Altar Servers:
Altar servers add to the solemnity that already surrounds the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. They assist the Priest in important ways in his role as head of the worshiping church. To become an altar server, you must be in at least 4th Grade and have received the sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion.
Adult Altar Servers are also needed for funerals.
Greeters and Ushers:
Counters:
Counters are needed each week to help count the Sunday collection. Counters meet on Monday mornings to assist in this.
Grapevine
Grapevine is an authentic Catholic young adult community for every young adult, at any point along their faith journey.
Every Thursday, we share in intellectual discussion and social life—the backbone of any authentic community.
Every Friday, we nurture the sacramental life in Eucharistic adoration as members of the universal Church
We seek to inspire others by living true Catholic lives through our weekly gatherings and actively invite our peers into our life in Christ.
We are the right place for you.

Monthly Playdates
Once a month, on Sunday afternoon, families with young children are invited to come to play together in McBride Hall. This gives our parishioners an opportunity to meet one another, fellowship together, and have some fun. Contact Lawrence Wallace at [email protected] for more details.
Sunday School – Ages 3 to 1st Grade
In Sunday School we share the beliefs of our faith with your child. It helps your child to shape a foundation to build their own faith on.
We gather for prayer, Scripture, stories, songs, crafts and other fun activities to explore the world God created for us, what we can do to care for it and other living things in it with our families and friends.
We journey with Jesus through his birth, sacrifice and undying love for us and how we can serve and care for others each day.
The content of the lesson programs that we use have been found by The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops to be in conformity with the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
