This past weekend we welcomed Anthony Donatelli our seminarian intern.  Anthony is a fine man from a great family.  It will be so good to have him here with us this school year.  Please be sure to say hello to Anthony and welcome him to our parish. Pray for all the men from our diocese discerning a call to the priesthood.
This past weekend we also welcomed a new member to our Catholic family.  Congratulation to the parents of Johnathon Joseph Murphy Mastracco, Jr on the baptism of their son.
I mentioned a few weeks ago at Mass that I signed the contract for the stained glass window restoration and preservation project. This is the main project for our centennial celebration.  The work on the windows will begin when the materials arrive.   Supply chain issues make the exact start date uncertain.  Henningers hopes to begin the project in October.  It will take approximately four months to complete.  We still have three windows that are not sponsored.  Please let me know if you are interested in sponsoring one of the remaining windows.
Be sure to join us for the Lakewood cluster parish picnic on Sunday, September 11th from 1 to 5 p.m. on the grounds of our school Lakewood Catholic Academy.  It will be a wonderful time filled with great music, food, and games for the kids.  I have even heard rumor we will have a bouncy house this year.
