Big News from Fr. Kevin

For those of you that were not at St. Luke for Mass this past weekend, I have some very important news to share with you. I have been appointed pastor of St. Clement and St. James parishes in addition to being the pastor of St. Luke. This appointment is effective December 1, 2023.

There will be some challenges to running three parishes. There will also be some great opportunities. The most difficult thing for me will be not being here at St. Luke every weekend. I am expecting a young priest to join me. However, that will not take place until June of 2024.

I see this as an opportunity to bring together the Catholic community of Lakewood. We can work together to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ to the people of Lakewood and beyond. Please pray for the whole Catholic community in Lakewood and especially for the parishioners of St. Clement and St. James as I become their pastor.
