Our savior is almost here!  Today we echo the prayers of the Church and pray Come Lord Jesus!  The light of the world comes once again into the hearts of those who welcome him.  We need that light now more than ever.  The pandemic continues to cast a dark shadow over us all.  Some are sick and others are separated from their loved ones due to the recent spike.  We cannot forget that our hope is in Jesus Christ.  When we welcome the light of Christ into our hearts and into our lives, there is no darkness that can stand up to so bright a light.
We rejoice in the new life that Jesus bought to us that first Christmas.  It is a joy that we can experience even in the midst of the challenges we are facing.  It is a joy that I refuse to let anyone or anything take away from me.  Let us joyfully welcome Jesus into our hearts again this Christmas so that we can fully experience the peace, joy, and happiness God so desires for us.
As a reminder, we will celebrate Mass on Christmas Eve at 4:00, 6:00, and 10:00 p.m.  We will celebrate Mass at 10:00 a.m. on Christmas Day.  We plan to livestream all of the Masses.  Fr. Gary will celebrate the 10:00 p.m. Mass on Christmas Eve.  I will be the celebrant for the remainder of the Masses.
Peace of Christ,
Fr. Kevin
