Ash Wednesday | February 14th
8:15 am at St. Luke
5:30 pm at St. Clement
We are quickly approaching the beginning of our Lenten journey. Our Lenten journey begins with Ash Wednesday on Wednesday, February 14th. We will celebrate Mass with the distribution of ashes at 8:15 a.m. at St. Luke and 5:30 p.m. at St. James. St. Luke was chosen for the morning mass because it is the typical Wednesday morning mass location. St. Clement was chosen because the Community Meal is scheduled for St. James that Wednesday, and there would not be enough parking along with noise issues. Please note that Fr. Kevin also has mass that day at our school Lakewood Catholic Academy.
Stations of the Cross & Eucharistic Adoration | Every Friday of Lent
7:00 pm Stations of the Cross at St. Luke
7:30 – 8:30 pm Eucharistic Adoration at St. Luke
We will pray Stations of the Cross every Friday during Lent at St. Luke at 7:00 p.m. Eucharistic adoration will follow from 7:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. A priest will be available for confessions most weeks. What a great way to add prayer to our Lenten practice of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. Make it a full evening by having dinner at the St. James Fish Fry before heading to St. Luke for Stations of the Cross and Eucharistic Adoration.
