Priesthood Ordination was so beautiful on Saturday morning at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist. From there we had the joyful celebration of the school reunion Mass on Saturday evening presided over by two sons of the parish; Fr. Neil Walters and Fr. Tom O’Donnell.
The St. Luke school reunion was a great success.  It was a little warm in the gym but people had a great time.  On Saturday morning we welcomed a new adopted son of God with the baptism of Jacob James Lilly.  Of course, the highlight of the entire weekend was the Mass presided over by Cardinal Sean O”Malley.  It was great to have Bishop Malesic and the concelebrating priests here with us as well.
We are having a little trouble with YouTube posting the 100th Anniversary Mass to our website.  You can access this over the top beautiful liturgy on the St. Luke YouTube page while we are waiting for it to post to our website.
I thanked a number of people this weekend for making these celebrations so special.  The danger of listing people specifically is that you are bound to forget someone.  At times we even forget those who so obviously deserve a word of thanks.  Max Hall, our pastoral minister/pcl is one of those people.  Max is the staff liaison to the centennial committee.  He has worked tirelessly throughout the anniversary celebrations.  Max worked especially hard to make the 100th Anniversary Mass special.  Please join me in thanking Max for his hard work and passion for serving our parish community.
Have a blessed week!
Fr. Kevin
